**Precision material parting off + surface cuts to set distances.
**Mini 17mm Ring Spanner to "nip/Lock" the End-Stock Travel.
Kit parts are@
End-Stock kit:
Shaft Mount with grub screws to lock & fix location
"V" block to locate the modified & Shortened Vernier with Adhesive fixing tape applied.
Dial Gauge Kit:
Bracket Clamp to accept a 25mm depth Digital Dial Gauge.
Fixing brackets complete with all grub screws & spring.
17mm Mini Spanner:
as per picture.
NOTE - Gauges are not supplied
The 17mm Mini Spanner is a tight press fit part.. this item needs to be warmed to body temperate to "ease" onto the 17mm Nut. if applied at below 25'C it will fracture if forced onto the 17mm Nut.. suggest warming in finger hot water for a minute - (NOT boiling)
Light finger torque is all that is necessary to Lock/Unlock the Tail-Stock Slide.
The Supplied 17mm Mini Spanner, is short enough to Not foul movement of operations, will not be lost, & will not be dropped onto the painted surfaces of your Very Expensive Mini-Lathe...AND it is not a cumbersome nuisance tool that is forever hiding when you need it most.

Admittedly you can keep your big hefty 17mm spanner...
The Gauge/Vernier fixings can remain permanently fitted to your lathe.
AND use a vernier caliper to endlessly measure your work, which takes much more time & may effect your finished surface, & take many bites to achieve a precision cut distance or depth.
