As the Healthcare Assistant, under the direction of the registered nurse, you will carry out observations, investigations and basic treatments as required. General duties include
Maintaining accurate medical records, including manual and
electronic data entry during the patients journey through the
department.
Undertakes and documents results of basic observations including
blood pressure, pulse, urine and blood sugar.
Has good communication skills to enable effective working
relationship with other members of staff.
Prepares clinical areas adequately to receive patients and ensuring
all equipment and information for clinical procedures are available,
when required.
Helps to keep department clean and tidy, participating in regular
cleaning of equipment and clinical areas.
Perform other duties as delegated by Qualified nursing staff within the
range of appropriate procedures for which training has been given
and competence achieved, assisting in the efficient running of the
department.

Experience of working within a hospital setting is required but not essential as training will be provided. Transport will also be provided. Wages from £10.00 - £15.00 per hour.
