I have owned the bike for 6yrs and it was used for my daily trip to work and back for 4yrs until i bought a car and its been sat in my shed since. Its only ever let me down with snapped clutch cable and a punctured tyre. Since owning the bike its had 2 top end rebuilds, 1 at 18,000 miles and the 2nd at 24,000 miles (receipts to prove), The rear wheel has been respoked about 3 years ago, The bike is fully de-restricted with the powervalve servo so has power from low end unlike many that have no servo. It has a full dep system which is about 3yrs old and boysen power reeds (receipt to prove). Being a dtx it also has excel rims, supermoto tyres and a Brembo front caliper. The bike has no MOT and is currently SORN. Since the bike has been sat the front caliper seems to be sticking, I have changed the front pads but that hasnt resolved the issue, i bought a 2nd hand caliper which turned out to be slightly different but pistons may be the same. I have a spare cylinder and head for the bike which i may sell with the bike if i can find it out. The bike starts and runs and should pass an mot with little work, The horn needs sorting out and it needs an indicator bulb but all other lights and electrics work as they should. I wanted to keep this bike as they are fast becoming collector bikes and being a genuine dtx they are alot less common but im selling to fund a project car.
