Our Family Friendly walk is BACK for 2019 with a new name and a new concept!
Still in partnership with Wolverhampton Wanderers Foundation, and of course joined by Wolfie AND Wendy, and hosted by none other than Dicky Dodd, we are shaking up the walk this year to make it even more family friendly.

We are delighted to announce that Shooting Stars Nurseries are our incredible sponsor of this years walk.

We want to get even more of you lovely lot walking with us to raise vital awareness. Join us at Molineux Stadium on Saturday 5th October for a fun-packed morning for all of the family. We will have lots of activities and entertainment for children and adults alike, before completing AN INCREDIBLE LAP OF HONOUR AROUND WOLVERHAMPTON WANDERERS PITCH, then heading out on a family walk through the glorious West Park. We will head back to Molineux for goody bags and a thank you!

Why 'A Walk in the Park'?

1 in 4 women and 1 in 5 children are affected by domestic abuse in the UK - that's an average of 5 children in every classroom. For those being subjected to domestic abuse, life is sadly not a walk in the park. It can be incredibly difficult and women and children are often left feeling isolated, scared and exist in fear of their abuser.

Additionally, for many of us, going for a nice walk in the park with friends, family or loved ones is something we may often take for granted. For those supported by The Haven, they may have never had the opportunity to experience the outdoors in this way. When women and children come to The Haven, we arrange trips and activities that encompass new experiences like family walks in the park, giving Mother and child the much deserved opportunity to create new happy and positive memories away from abuse.

**Important info** - dogs are more than welcome to join us for the walk however, you will not be able to take your four legged friends into the stadium for the pitch lap. Please bear this in mind when planning your morning with us - we don't want any wandering pups been adopted into the wolf pack!
