A leading manufacturer of bespoke solutions specialising in the nuclear new build, decommissioning and defence sectors now requires Principal Engineers

You will be responsible for the delivery of mechanical design packages and techically compliant design deliverables, whilst leading a team of Design Engineers to deliver solutions from front end engineering to detailed design production. You will provide the technical lead and direction of the engineering team assigned to each project. Responsibilities will incorporate client technical management in addition to:

* Design of High Integrity Goliath Crane structural fabrications, jib, portal and other crane structures, hoists, mechanisms and drive systems and production of supporting design calculations.

* Equipment life extension assessment / substantiation, safety function, code and legislation compliance.
