Birth & Postnatal Doula Support

I'm a train and experience doula, I provide support to pregnant women during pregnancy, birth and afterbirth.
My role is to provide practical, informational and emotional support to expectant mothers and and their families, by request and personal choice. All families are unique and I ensure that awareness of tradition and culture is acknowledged.


The benefits to having doula service, a doula will help you make informed choices by providing useful information. She will be a hands on Support and advocate for clients before and during childbirth, There is growing evidence indicating that having a doula; reduces intervention rates, shortening labor, a high satisfaction with birth outcome and higher chance of a spontaneous vaginal birth.

Studies have shown that having a doula present with a woman in labor can:

28% less likely to have a cesarean section
31% less likely to use synthetic oxytocin to speed up labor
9% less likely to use any paid medication
34% less likely to rate their childbirth experience negatively


As a doula I ensure that the families and mother are appropriately supported during pregnancy, birth, included her transition into motherhood by helping her finding her own way in her new role.

My role is not to tell mother what to do, but to encourage and inspire her to follow her inner maternal instinct, which she innately has.
