We have a 10 yr old malamute "pilar" she is a fantastic dog. Great with kids she letts todlers hold on to her to learn to walk lol. She loves cuddles treats and fuss. But shes generally a laid back dog who will sleep allday and wait for u to call her over. BUT shes now struggling with our life style "im a builder" she cant hack being out side in alweathers with me constant stairs ect she needs a relaxed person or couple to chill out with. she has years left . Be great if you have grandchildren as she loves kids and their attention lol. I dont want anything for her but i will want to see where she is going and i want to see that she is doing well for a 3 month period. After that i will leave here settle. Pillar is the best companion and i love her with all my heart. X
