Day 1
We will meet you at the airport and drive you to The Imperial Resort in Kampala (1 ½ hrs). This is a Ugandan-owned and operated hotel with a solid reputation.
Overnight in city hotel.
Day 2
After breakfast, we'll run you back to the airport for the flight to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in the extreme west of Uganda. Your guide will be there waiting for you. Pick up and proceed to Gorilla Safari Lodge on the southern boundary of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. It has just 8 cottages, including two which are family rooms (NB. Min age to visit the gorillas is 15 years). If you're looking for clean, tidy and well managed lodge, this owner-operated lodge is spot on. Competitively priced and offering good, solid value.

Day 3
After breakfast we'll drive you to the road-head and the start of the trek which goes through montane rainforest. After a while you'll see (and hear) the first signs of gorilla activity: the first sound you usually hear is the sound of snapping bamboo (they eat the inner flesh of the plant). A max of 1 hour is spent with the family. Trek back to Gorilla Forest Lodge, full board, all meals.
Day 4
After breakfast jump aboard the Land Rover for the return to the airstrip for the flight back to Entebbe [Kampala], depending on what you're doing next.
