Walsall Wood Aikido Club is solely a Aikido Dojo with a permanent mat space of 100 Sq mtrs based in Walsall in the West Midlands. We are a not for profit community club that practice traditional Aikido that is also called Iwama or Takemusu Aikido so our costs are kept deliberately low. We welcome new members all year round and run both adult and children's classes teaching strong basics, accuracy of technique and posture and creating confidence & self esteem, fitness, relaxation, awareness and coordination of the body.
Aikido is a great martial art to learn for Self Defence as it Aikido will teach you how to immobilize, pin down or throw an attacker with relative ease regardless of there size or strength. This requires very little physical strength as such Aikido is a wonderful martial art that is great for virtually anyone of any age, build or sex.

All members and instructors are British Aikido Board recognised and vetted. The British Aikido Board is the only governing body for Aikido in the UK.

First 2 classes FREE after
£4 a class pay as you go or £25 a month as many classes as you want in that month

Tuesday: 7pm to 9pm

Wednesday: Kids classes 6.00pm to 7.00pm
Wednesday: 7.30pm to 9.30pm

Thursday: 7.30pm to 9.30pm

Friday: 7.30pm to 9.30pm

Saturday: 10am to 11.30am
