This Coffee Table is a piece quite appealing due to its rough looking edges, the knots, holes and that is on the table. The makeup of the table is a combination between recycled Oak Railway Sleepers and Stinkwwod, (Stinkwood is a Southern African tree (Ocotea bullata) of the laurel family yielding a hard strong wood used in cabinetmaking). The Oak is reclaimed from Namibian railway sleepers in Africa. The stink wood has been obtained from close to the coastal town of Namibia called Swakopmund. It is 625mm wide x 655mm long x 520mm high. The grains of the wood has just a way of talking and speaking for itself. The atypical steel legs does not have a 'perfect' finish to it as you can see some scratches from the grinder when the steel was cleaned off. The legs was also made form reclaimed 30 x 20 rectangular steel tubing. The table has a wax finish on both the wood and steel including the steel. Buyer must collect. Delivery can be arrange but extra fee may be charged depending the location.
