Provides support to the chest area for additional comfort.
It helps secure the child in the pushchair and instantly stops the child from putting their arms through the straps of the pushchair.
If your child is prone to outbursts where they fight against the straps of the pushchair or has seizures the chest pad can also stop the straps of the pushchair from cutting into the child.

Fitting

The Chest Pad links the two shoulder straps, one strap is constantly attached by sliding the strap of the pushchair through the one side of the chest pad of which remains on that strap, the other side of the chest pad is wrapped around the other pushchair strap and secured with a thick line of strong Velcro.
This makes it both secure when fastened but you are able to unfasten it very quickly if needed and there is no chance of loosing it as it always stays attached to the one strap.
You are able to keep this on the pushchair for just when it is needed and not use it all of the time if you wish to. Just don't attach the second strap to it and slide it down the strap that it is fixed to so it is out of the child's way. This worked for me. I hope this makes sense.
